Paul Brown salons were recently voted "Hawaii's Best" Salon by the readers of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and its sister paper, Midweek. There are four Paul Brown Salons, day spas and spas, plus his newly opened Paul Brown痴 Spa Olakino * Salon, in Hawaii. Last year Paul Brown salons were also voted "Hawaii's Best."

The flagship Paul Brown Salon * Day Spa is located in Honolulu at Ward Centre. Two more full-service salons are located in Kailua and Waikele, and there is a salon and spa at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel at Mauna Kea Resort, on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. Brown's latest venture, Paul Brown痴 Spa Olakino * Salon, opened in November 2003 in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. Brown opened his first hair salon in Honolulu in 1971.

In receiving the "Hawaii's Best" designation, Brown is in the company of other top businesses --restaurants, hotels, attractions and retailers--also receiving the title. The Star-Bulletin/Midweek reader's poll, perhaps the most comprehensive in the state, was conducted earlier this spring. About two-thirds of Oahu's million-plus population read the two papers.

Paul Brown is a master hairstylist, an educator and businessman who heads an international company, promoting his beloved Hawaii all over the world. Brown's hair care line, distributed in salons on four continents, is 12 years old.
